Fish, boneless batons <br />1 tbsp. Red Chilli powder <br />1 tbsp. Asafoetida <br />1 tbsp. Carom seeds, crushed <br />1 tbsp. Ginger & garlic paste <br />3 tbsp. Gram flour <br />1 tbsp. Refined flour <br />1 tbsp. Corn flour <br />1 tsp. Turmeric powder <br />1 tsp. Chaat masala <br />1 Lemon juice <br />Salt, as required <br />2-3 tbsp. Water <br /> <br />For the Onion Chutney:- <br />½ cup coriander leaves <br />1 Green chilli <br />2 whole lemons, juiced <br />1 tbsp. Chaat masala <br />½ tsp. Salt <br />1 cup Onions, diced <br /> <br />Method:- <br />- Grind the onion chutney ingredients in a mixer grinder to a coarse paste. Transfer the chutney to a bowl and refrigerate until served. <br />- In a bowl add gram flour, corn flour, refined flour, chaat masala, asafoetida, ginger-garlic paste, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, lemon juice and mix well. <br />- Now add water and make a thick batter. <br />- Once the batter is lump free add the fish pieces and stir gently. <br />- Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish in it on a medium flame until crisp and golden brown in colour. <br />- Serve with onion chutney. <br /> <br />Amritsari Fish is ready to eat.
